This delicate hinged brooch was just the project I needed. Pierced Arts and Crafts/ Art Nouveau inspired hammered copper upper element supports a kinetic hinged shield shape with a copper riveted on sterling silver setting that contains a beautiful iridescent organic Mabe Pearl. The Brooch measures 2.25” in height and is 1.5” at widest. The pin back mechanism is handmade out of sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel. The piece is signed, hallmarked and dated 2023.
