When I was beginning my journey in the the medium of metal I was immediately drawn to the possibilities of shaping metal with hammers and that metal is actually quite fluid with the right tools and practice. This neck piece is hammer forged in several parts and put together with a few simple jump rings. The central forged element is captured on the top element and swings freely with the body. The piece terminates with an adjustable handmade chain and hook. The pendant measures 3.5” at widest and 3” long and is set with five, 5mm peridots.
