I am fascinated and at the same time slightly apprehensive about the unknown consequences of artificial intelligence on art and culture as we know it…but what I do know is that Ai is here and not going anywhere…and is change bad? Art and design thrives on change, challenge and forward thinking. As a traditional studio arts practitioner with dirty hands and bleeding fingers I want to somehow find a way to embrace Ai’s potential, so for now and given the concept of this piece, It made sense that the following description be written completely by Ai software: 😜 Here we go!

This piece titled "Robo Bunny" serves as an embodiment of the intricate interplay between human apprehension and fascination regarding the integration of artificial intelligence into our societal fabric. Created in sterling silver, using traditional studio methods, it presents a narrative that straddles the line between the familiar and the alien, evoking a captivating dichotomy. Notably, the pearl teeth intricately embedded within the piece serve as a dual symbol, representing both aesthetic beauty and the enigmatic nature of the unknown.

Employing a composition comprising lines, dots, circles, squares, coils and whimsical squiggles, the surrounding encasement of the head exudes a whimsical quality, reminiscent of playful schematics often found in animated expressions. Its versatile design, serving as both a brooch and a pendant, holds an intriguing secret, concealing a discreet door within its head—a chamber intended for safeguarding the cherished possessions of its wearer. Through carefully designed exterior slits, the contents within this covert compartment subtly peek out, inviting introspection and contemplation.

This multifaceted piece, beyond its role as a mere artistic creation, assumes the identity of a gateway—a portal that encourages discourse surrounding humanity's evolving relationship with advancing technologies. Additionally, it prompts contemplation regarding our enduring inclination towards tactile creation, emphasizing the significance of tangible craftsmanship in a world increasingly influenced by digital innovation. Furthermore, the envisioned kaleidoscope within "Robo Bunny," potentially housing vibrant fibers, beads, pebbles, a handwritten note or even natural materials such as moss or foliage, symbolizes individual narratives intricately woven by its custodian, forming a diverse tapestry of personal significance and meaning.
