The Victorian’s had a wonderful jewelry form called the Lover’s Eye which typically was a painting or enamel of just a loved ones eye set into a brooch or pendant. My take on this is a diminutive yet powerful image of a sterling silver and copper riveted heart surrounded by pearls and round lapis beads and set with an antique glass doll eye. This brooch measures approximately 2” in height and 1.75” in width and is a wonderful little piece. The pin is signed, hallmarked and dated 2024.
