This one is interesting…. I started with this cabinet card of a turn of the 20th century young man simply because I thought he’d make an impactful image for this piece. On the back of the card was a tiny bit of information; His name, his two children’s names and his brother’s name. With only these clues and the help of a genealogist we now know that William Frederick Kopp was born in 1880 in Switzerland and died in 1950 in Fairport, NY. Bill was married to Mabel Elizabeth Pickard and in 1908 they had twin girls, Alice and Alberta. Alice died in 1993, she was married and had no children. Alberta was never married , also had no children and died in 1981.

“Bill” is constructed from sterling silver and paper with several coats of clear coat, acid free sealant. Within the small chamber is captured loose stones, a smokey quartz, a quartz crystal, a lime quartz and a coin pearl.. Along the edge are 5 post set reshwater pearls. The piece measures approximately 2x2.25” and is signed, hallmarked and dated 2024. Complimentary tracked and insured USPS Ground Advantage shipping within the US.
