The skull is a shaped bezel which is holding a tab set and riveted composition of antique tin lithography that is clear coated for stability. Post set to the outside of the bezel and at the back of the skull are 7 white freshwater pearls. The metalwork on the piece is finalized with a patina to highlight the detail and is worn as a brooch using the handmade forged sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism.
