Inspired by the raw, unflinching figures of one of my favorite artists, Egon Schiele. I’ve always been drawn to his disheveled, imperfect subjects—the outsiders, the misfits, the people who exist in the fringe and beyond the margins of polite society.
“In the Margin” is a one of a kind, completely hand fabricated, pierced, hammer forged and textural sterling silver and scratch finished brass figural lapel pin. Created from many interconnected hand worked elements this piece is worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism. “In the Margin” measures approximately 2.25×2.25” and is signed, hallmarked and dated 2026.
