The heart is a shaped bezel which is holding a tab set and riveted composition of antique tin lithography that is clear coated for stability while the “chest”, complete with ribs, sternum, lungs, liver and intestines is all post set into a turn of the 20th century tin medicinal box. The metalwork on the piece is finalized with a patina to highlight the detail and is worn as a brooch using the handmade forged sterling silver and 18-gauge spring steel mechanism and as a pendant utilizing the integrated hidden bale.
