Sometimes I make things that are not intended to be worn. I have had this skeletal guy in mind for a while and finally undertook the project. For my metalsmith friends, this was one of the hardest solder jobs I can remember in a long time….dozens of tiny individual parts solder together to raise this little piece off the ground. This completely hand fabricated one of a kind skeletal dog sculpture is created from hammered, forged, fused and fabricated sterling silver sheet and wire. The central segmented spinal element supports the skeletal remains including, rib cage, collar bone, tail and skull. The piece is finished with a patina to highlight the detail and measures approximately 3×2.75×1.75”. The piece is signed, hallmarked and dated 2025.
