“Opposing Planes” brooch/pendant is created from forged, fabricated and textural sterling silver and fresh water black pearl. The form has a forged echo wire on one side and a row of six post set fresh water black pearls on the other. The piece is finished with a patina which is removed from the high points revealing the details and texture. The piece worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism and as a pendant using the integrated hidden bale. “Opposing Planes” measures approximately 3.5×1.5.” and is signed, hallmarked and dated 2025.
