I began this piece with intention—and then pushed it past control. I fabricated a form only to intentionally overheat it until it collapsed, surrendering the outcome to the process itself. What could have been failure became the focal point. The piece isn’t about precision, but about response—about recognizing when the work starts speaking back and choosing to listen.

Process” is a one of a kind, completely hand fabricated sterling silver lapel pin/brooch. The piece is finalized with a bezel and prong set citrine crystal shard and 8 freshwater black and white pearls. “Process” is finalized with a patina and is worn as a brooch using the handmade sterling silver and 18 gauge spring steel mechanism.
